This is an event that happened last summer. With the heat and the flies buzzing around it came back into my memory just moments ago. Jessica our neighbor was having a BBQ. As usual in California we leave the doors open because the weather is so nice here at the beach we don’t need air-conditioning. Anyway, we walk across the street to join the festivities and she tells us about how she had to go by those fly strips that unroll because the flies are just hanging around her scrumptious spread. True, in fact the flytraps were sort of doing their job, but she tells us how she was “attacked by them” when she took them out of the packaging. Jessica was telling us about how it took her forever to get them off of her and then she was sticky afterwards. Of course we reminded her about REMOVEEZ and it was like a light went off in her head. “I knew about the tar” she said, “but I didn’t think about it for other sticky stuff.” I still chuckle when I imagine her wrapped up in flytraps.
